DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL MEDIA

Our clients are asking for more and more marketing products and we have the database to deliver on those needs, but we need a champion to focus on growing it even more. With your expertise in managing an email database, building compelling content and delivering innovative integrated marketing programs in a business-to-business market we can meet the growing needs of our clients. We want to build partnerships that bring more compelling content mobile applications that drive reader engagement, and we’re counting on your experience and drive to make that happen.
We’re looking for a results-oriented individual to make an immediate impact in our company using digital media and direct response strategies to build targeted campaigns for our advertisers. With demonstrated ability to set strategic direction and execute a digital strategy that engages a loyal, online audience you will direct your team, partner with the sales force and maximize the revenue for our existing products as well as bringing new products to light. Attracting and building audiences to drive revenue goals is your passion, and you’re not afraid to fight for your ideas.
We expect our digital revenue to grow 100% - 300% over the next five years, and this position is a critical part of making that happen. Managing a digital media staff of eight including web design, SEO, CMS and web developers, you’ll keep your team motivated and expect high levels of performance.
We are a medical media company in Central New Jersey that provides online tools and information to healthcare professionals. Our company was founded in 1994.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
• 7-10 yrs experience in direct response marketing and digital content management.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, or related field. MBA preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of digital media strategies, especially mobile.
• Proven track record of developing a loyal audience for digital content.
• Experience leading a team or department of high performers.
• Demonstrated collaboration, influence and facilitation skills.
• Experience building third party content partnerships is a plus.
• Ability to present strategies and products to clients.
• Confidence, passion and leadership for digital media, but with a healthy respect for the traditional publishing
model.
Salary for this position: $90,000-125,000 based on experience and salary history. We offer a benefits package that includes: medical insurance, paid time off and 401K.
