Employee
Engagement Strategy
The last few years
have been tough, business owners have had to change the ways they compensate
and motivate their teams. Gone are
the days of ping-pong tables, big bonuses and free soda. Now it’s no raises, more work, and a
load of uncertainty. Yet we still
need our teams to come to work everyday and give 110%. How do we engage our employee’s hearts
and minds when we can no longer pour on lots of cash compensation? Heck, we can’t even afford the cool
office any more!
In order to
overcome these challenges we will talk about building trust, and adopting
transparency while maintaining your authority as the leader.
We cover:
- What really motivates your team (and it’s not
money)
- Ways to engage our
team to deal with the uncertainty in the marketplace
- How do we create a
“new deal” with our team, that we can afford and is attractive to them.
- How to increase
transparency, create trust and get more for less
- Positioning your
firm to win in the coming employee swap meet.
Brad Farris addresses these issues using
lots of examples drawn from his 10 years of consulting with Small Business
Owners. He has seen clients who
have done things well, and some that have made mistakes, and brings those
examples in the program.
Brad’s speaking style is dynamic and
interactive, no PowerPoint here!
The discussion format that he uses is very flexible and insures that
concerns that members bring into the meeting can get appropriately addressed.
Audience members will leave with a new
understanding of the levers of employee engagement. We will map a specific plan for gaining more commitment and
effort from your team. But it’s
not just all about them. In order
to make significant gains in engagement changes need to be made by the owner
and we will outline the risks and opportunities that they represent. Everyone should leave with a solid plan
that they can take back to their workforce and begin implementation.

I heartily recommend Brad Farris as a speaker for your next meeting. He delivers the goods in a winsome way. Brad has great training content with real life examples from his business experience and just the right amount of humor. My staff are still quoting Brad and working on the principles he taught us months after the training session he led.”
