Growing south-side manufacturer is looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, physical plant and capital projects.
This established manufacturer is looking to find a Maintenance Manager who can do more than just fix things that are broken. They are looking for someone to really manage the maintenance function, creating and managing the budget, proposing capital improvements and replacement schedules for equipment, selecting the subcontractors, and personnel and insuring that the whole place runs.
There’s a wide range of equipment, including: front-loaders, fork trucks, hydraulic, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems. The company is also contemplating expansion into a second plant, and is looking for this person to provide project management for that project.
Successful candidates will demonstrate experience supervising safety programs, including protocols for tag-out/lock-out, confined spaces, protective equipment, and other safety systems. Give us examples of managing capital projects including planning, selection, installation and testing of all equipment. Physical Plant management, including roofing, paving and major mechanical systems. You will need to have managed a budget, and some subordinates.
