  • Why Work Here?

Sales Coordinator

Do you enjoy working to keep busy sales people in the field? Do you like to interact with clients, keeping them happy by answering their questions and directing their requests to the appropriate staff? Are you able to put your head down and stay on top of a million details, following through on your work while juggling the requests of the busy sales team?

Our privately owned and well-established paper recycling company, located in Chicago’s Southwest side, is growing and we’re adding a sales coordinator to support our successful sales team.

We are looking for someone who never settles for second best. Someone with an infectious enthusiasm readily acknowledged by clients and co-workers who is able to see what needs to be done and do it – without being asked. The successful candidate will also be able to problem solve, make decisions and address client needs without hand-holding – but s/he will also know when to pull her/his manager into knotty customer issues. S/he will execute repeated tasks like ordering customer supplies, keeping inventory, and doing data entry with accuracy and speed.

While we are focused on our business and our success, if you want to work in a “serious” corporate environment, this isn’t for you. We work hard but we have fun while we’re at it. We only add people to our team who have a drive to succeed, a desire to continuously learn more and do better, and a positive attitude that they convey to clients and co-workers.

The successful candidate will have at least three years experience in a sales or customer service support role. S/he will have a great “phone voice” and superior communication skills – verbal, written and listening. S/he will be technologically savvy and have worked on a CRM database – GoldMine experience is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer two weeks paid vacation, health and medical benefits (BCBS), and a simple retirement program with a 3% match. This is a chance to join a smaller company where individuals are respected and rewarded, and where you determine your own success.
