In response to this, Anchor Advisors, Ltd. is co-sponsoring the event, "Who Could Be Stealing From Your Business?" with American Chartered Bank and Porte Brown on November 12, from 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., at the Union League Club in Chicago. We will be covering things that you, as a business owner, can do to prevent theft and fraud from striking your business.

The seminar will feature two presentations:

Joe Gleba & Kelly Switt, CPA’s from the accounting firm of Porte Brown LLC, will discuss how fraud happens and how it could be prevented. They will use real examples of business theft that they have uncovered.

Kent Scharringhausen, Senior Vice President of Treasury Management, American Chartered Bank, will discuss a bank's system of checks and balances; online banking; wire transfers; and how lockbox works and why it might be right for your business.

We will be serving appetizers, as time will allow you networking opportunities with other business owners.  Space is limited so reserve your spot today by calling Julie Roth at 773.282.7677 or for more information you can download a flyer.
